Nice Jewish Books is a podcast focusing on adult Jewish fiction sponsored by the Association of Jewish Libraries (AJL.) Not only is AJL the leading authority on Judaica Librarianship, its members are a community of readers and bibliophiles. On this podcast, we chat with authors about Jewish literature, genre fiction, works in translation, and more. As long as a book has a Jewish theme or character, it’s a candidate for our show!

If you are interested in being interviewed please keep the following guidelines in mind:

We focus on literature written for adults although YA books might occassionally be considered
The work can be a full length novel, novella, or collection of short stories.
The book must have strong Jewish characters and/or themes. (The author need not be Jewish)
Books of any genre will be considered (literary fiction, popular fiction, mysteries, science fiction, fantasy, etc.)
We will rarely consider war, Holocaust related works, or political thrillers.

To be considered for an interview, fill out the form with a description of your work. If we are interested, we will ask you to provide a copy of the work either in paper or as an ebook/epub file. Please do not send pdfs.

Interviews are generally conducted over Zoom.
